Raja Mesir Mengagumi Nabi Yusuf
Raja Mesir yang telah mendengar banyak tentang Nabi Yusuf merasa kagum kepadanya.
Raja Mesir melihat Nabi Yusuf sebagai orang yang cerdas, sabar, berbudi pekerti yang baik, dan jujur.
Menurut Raja Mesir, Nabi Yusuf sangat pantas bila diserahi tugas sebagai pemimpin.
Raja Mesir pun menawarkan kepada Nabi Yusuf untuk tinggal di istana.
Raja Mesir menyerahi tugas kepada Nabi Yusuf untuk mewakili raja dalam menyelenggarakan pemerintahan dan pengurusan negara.
Raja Mesir juga memberi tugas kepada Nabi Yusuf untuk memimpin rakyat Mesir menghadapi saat-saat sulit paceklik.
Nabi Yusuf Menjadi Wakil Raja Mesir
Nabi Yusuf menerima tawaran Raja Mesir tersebut.
Nabi Yusuf menerima tugas tersebut dengan syarat, Nabi Yusuf harus diberi kekuasaan penuh dalam bidang keuangan dan bidang distribusi bahan makanan.

Pada hari penobatan tersebut, Nabi Yusuf dikukuhkan sebagai wakil Raja Mesir dengan mengenakan pakaian kerajaan.
Di leher Nabi Yusuf dikalungkan sebuah kalung emas.
Di hadapan para hadirin, Raja Mesir melepaskan cincin dari jari tangannya dan dipasangkan ke jari tangan Nabi Yusuf, sebagai tanda penyerahan kekuasaan kerajaan. ***
