Putri yang Dijilati Kerbau (Cerita Rakyat Nusantara dari Sulawesi Tengah)

Suatu hari, Putri Tandampalik yang cantik dari kerajaan Luwu dilamar oleh Putra Mahkota Kerajaan Bone.
Namun, sayang.
Beberapa waktu kemudian Putri Tandampalik terserang penyakit kulit menular yang susah diobati.
Karena takut penyakit Putri Tandampalik menular pada rakyatnya, akhirnya Raja Luwu terpaksa mengasingkan Putri Tandampalik ke sebuah pulau terpencil.
Dengan sabar dan ikhlas, Putri Tandampalik menerima keputusan ayahandanya.
“Demi keselamatan rakyat semua, hamba bersedia mengasingkan diri dari istana, Ayah,” ujar Putri Tandampalik sebelum pergi.
Suatu hari di tempat pengasingannya, Putri Tandampalik melihat seekor kerbau bule datang mendekatinya.
Kerbau itu tiba-tiba menerjang Putri Tandampalik hingga pingsan.
Kerbau itu lalu menjilati seluruh permukaan kulit Putri Tandampalik.
Keajaiban terjadi.
Setelah dijilati kerbau bule itu, mendadak penyakit kulit Putri Tandampalik sembuh.
“Ya Tuhan, terima kasih. Sekarang penyakit kulitku sudah benar-benar sembuh!” seru Putri Tandampalik dengan gembira.
Sementara itu, Putra Mahkota Kerajaan Bone kebetulan berburu ke pulau tempat pengasingan Putri Tandampalik.
Secara tak sengaja, ia memasuki sebuah gubuk tempat tinggal Putri Tandampalik.
Saat itu, Putri Tandampalik sedang memasak air minum.
Maka pertemuan tak terduga pun terjadi.
Betapa bahagianya mereka dapat bertemu kembali.
Akhirnya Raja Bone memutuskan untuk segera menikahkan Putra Mahkota dengan Putri Tandampalik.
Diutuslah rombongan Bone untuk melamar Putri Tandampalik.
Tak berapa lama kemudian digelar pesta pernikahan Putri Tandampalik dengan Putra Mahkota Kerajaan Bone dengan sangat meriah.
Beberapa tahun kemudian, Putra Mahkota Kerajaan Bone naik tahta.
Ia pun menjadi Raja Bone yang arif dan bijaksana menggantikan ayahandanya. ***

Allah Ta’ala akan senantiasa menyayangi dan menolong setiap hambanya yang selalu sabar dan ikhlas dalam menghadapi ujian atau cobaan yang berat.

The buffalo suddenly lunged at Putri Tandampalik until she fainted.
The buffalo then licked the entire surface of Princess Tandampalik’s skin.
A miracle happened.
After being licked by the Caucasian buffalo, Princess Tandampalik’s skin disease suddenly recovered.
“Oh my God, thank you. Now my skin disease is completely cured!” exclaimed Princess Tandampalik happily.
Meanwhile, the Crown Prince of the Bone Kingdom happened to be hunting on the island where Princess Tandampalik was exiled.
Unintentionally, he entered a hut where Princess Tandampalik lived.
At that time, Putri Tandampalik was cooking drinking water.
Then an unexpected meeting took place.
How happy they were to meet again.
Finally the King of Bone decided to immediately marry the Crown Prince to Princess Tandampalik.
The Bone entourage was sent to propose to Princess Tandampalik.
Not long after, Princess Tandampalik’s wedding ceremony with the Crown Prince of the Bone Kingdom was held with great fanfare.
Several years later, the Crown Prince of the Bone Kingdom ascended the throne.
